Terms of Service 2025

All work by the Artist purchased by the Client is for personal, noncommercial use only.

The Client may not use any work by the Artist in the creation or use of non-fungible tokens (NFTs), cryptocurrency, or generative AI tools or datasets.

The Client must be at least 18 years of age.

The Artist has the right to refuse any Client or cancel any commission for any reason.

The Artist uses email to contact the Client about commissions and deliver artwork files.

The Artist accepts payment in USD upfront via PayPal invoice only.

The Client must pay the invoice in full before the Artist begins any work or sends any files.

For a character design, the Client must pay the invoice in full within 48 hours or the Artist will re-open the design to a different Client.

The Client may discuss short-term payment plans with the Artist for invoices over 250 USD.

For a character design, if the Client fails to complete a payment plan within the discussed time frame, the Artist may re-open the design for a different Client.

The Artist may take anywhere from one (1) week to three (3) months to complete the Client’s order.

The Artist will not accept work with a deadline.

The Client will receive files of the relevant works in progress from the Artist:

Thumbnail -> Sketch -> Refine -> Flat colors -> Partial render

Any significant changes requested by the Client may incur an additional charge.

For both completed commissions and character designs, the Client will receive two (2) PNG files:

One (1) unwatermarked full resolution

One (1) watermarked lower resolution

The Client may not request any changes to a commission after completion by the Artist.

The Client may not claim to have created any artwork or character design made by the Artist.

The Client may use artwork purchased from the Artist for personal, noncommercial projects only.

For character designs, the Client may not use the design to create an original species without prior discussion with the Artist.

The Client may make small edits to any purchased artwork.

The Client may reupload purchased artwork to their own galleries, use it as profile décor, or create physical media of it, with credit to the Artist.

The Artist may upload any Client work to their own portfolios and galleries.

The Client must notify the Artist beforehand if they do not want the work uploaded.

For character designs, the Artist will upload the completed design to the character site Toyhouse in addition to their portfolio.

The Client may request the Artist transfer ownership of the character’s profile to the Client’s Toyhouse account, if they have one.

The Client may request a refund from the Artist under the following conditions:

The Artist has not started any work.

The Artist has not completed the refining stage of a work.

The Artist is unable to complete the work within the maximum turnaround time.

The Client is unable to complete a payment plan.

The Artist has completed the refining stage but not the flats or render of a work.

The Client may not request a refund if the Artist has already completed the work.

For character designs, the Client may not request a refund for a purchased design.

The Client may resell any character designs purchased from the Artist, but only for the amount initially paid for.

The Client may increase the price of the design if it includes additional artwork, based on the value of the additional work.

If the Client trades the design, it may be traded again but not resold, unless it includes additional artwork.
